• 📦 CONTENT - At home, you will receive a practical, resealable bag of Agar Agar powder that is sealed upon first opening, convenient and easy to carry. • 💜 AGAR AGAR - Agar agar (also called just “agar”) is a polysaccharide that does not alter the taste of the dishes in which it is used in any way; it is completely plant-based and is obtained through a fairly complex treatment of processing and drying certain types of red algae.
• 🔍 HOW TO USE - Agar-agar (E406) is tasteless and is an excellent thickener regardless of the surrounding environment. Even a 1% concentration, dissolved in hot water, is sufficient for an elastic gel that is mechanically stable enough but not too compact, with an extremely thin layer of watery liquid on the surface. Half a teaspoon is as effective as four sheets of gelatin.
• 🌱 VEGAN - Agar agar is the product obtained from the processing of red algae and is used as a plant-based gelling agent mainly in the preparation of puddings, aspic, and dessert jellies, especially in vegetarian and vegan cuisine. It has no caloric impact and is only minimally absorbed by the body: it is also thermo-reversible, meaning the gelled compound can be melted multiple times and then set again
• 🇮🇹 ERBOTECH - Erbotech is a short-supply-chain company, where the phytopreparator and specialized staff handle every single step of the production department, from cultivation to harvesting, from processing to the packaging of the finished product. The local origin of the raw materials allows for processing within a few hours of harvesting, so as to be able to preserve the quantitative, phytochemical, and organoleptic characteristics.
